We were thrilled to be part of  the Great British Jaguar Day on Saturday at Bicester - part of perhaps the greatest collection of Jaguars ever assembled. Our new Head of Research - Simon Aldridge @octanesimon - curated a display of 7 very special cars, each with very special stories.

CKL are proud to announce that our latest Jaguar C-type restoration is a finalist for Restoration of the Year in both the International Historic Motoring Awards and the Royal Automobile Club Historic Awards 2025.

Coming Second in Class in Post War Sports Racing was a fabulous result for our 1953 C-type restoration, and a testament to the car, its history, the research we have done and the quality of the restoration. We’re very proud.

The last four weeks have seen us at four major events across the world, and we are thrilled to have won five first places: Sir Jackie Stewart congratulations Marc Gordon, Winner of this year's Fordwater Trophy at Goodwood Revival.

We had eighteen cars at the Revival, including four parade cars in the 75th anniversary celebration of the Jaguar XK engine, and two safety cars, as well as ten cars racing. All of the cars ran solely on sustainable fuel this year.

We were delighted to show our latest restoration at Hampton Court this week. Also on display at the Palace was the 1953 Le Mans winning C-Type Lightweight XKC 051 which we reunited with its original body, engine and gearbox during a forensic restoration which we completed in 2022.

This Jaguar Mark IV Drophead had been owned by only two families - its first owner was a member of the Guérin family, owners of the Maison D’Orsay perfumie.

Once Jeff had acquired the car, he sent it to CKL for a full restoration, with the intention to enter it in both concours and touring events.
