A MAGNIFICENT WEEKEND OF RACING AT BRANDS HATCH

Looking back at what was a magnificent weekend of racing at the newly launched @motorracinglegends London Historic Trophy which went off with a bang on Friday afternoon with the second installment of the Generations Trophy all MGB race - father and son team of Rick & Jack Willmott put in a superb drive placing 4th overall & 3rd in Class.

We had an array of fine machinery lined up for the Stirling Moss & Woodcote Trophy in the form of Lister Chevy BHL124, Lister Knobbly BHL105 (the highly-original ‘58 Le Mans Lister) ‘The Gomm’ Special, and a Jaguar XK140 FHC. BHL124 was driven by Max Lynn and Andy Wolfe to a fantastic 3rd place in Stirling Moss. The Gomm’ Special driven by Rick & Joe Willmott, finished 4th in Woodcote and 1st in Class.

Also…in HRDC racing, Marc Gordon scored a class win driving his Jaguar XK150 (a previous Goodwood winner).

Simon Aldridge

Born in London in 1974, Simon Aldridge is an artist, architect, and designer. After earning a BSc degree from London’s Bartlett School, he won a Kennedy Scholarship to Harvard where he studied art and architecture. It was at Harvard’s Carpenter Center, designed and established by Le Corbusier, that he was taught to think of art and design together. His inter-disciplinary practice today merges these theories with contemporary post-conceptual culture.
