MOTOR RACING LEGENDS CHAMPIONS
CKL WIN WOODCOTE, STIRLING MOSS AND GENERATIONS TROPHIES
WHAT A NIGHT… Last Thursday at the Royal Automobile Club, CKL were awarded 3 trophies - becoming the ‘winningest team’ in Motor Racing Legends. CKL run cars won every category in which they were entered.
The annual MRL annual Prizegiving & Awards took place at the RAC Club on Pall Mall. We are very proud to announce…
The Winners:
Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy
Rick & Joseph Willmott
The prestigious Woodcote Trophy was won by father and son duo Rick and Joe Willmott, and with Rick and Joe unavailable, further members of the Willmott clan collected on their behalf. CKL run their unique, beautiful Jaguar XK140 Gomm Special and Rick and Joe earned a class podium every time they entered, with two victories and a second place.
Stirling Moss Trophy
John Spiers & Nigel Greensall
Spiers’ Lister Costin run by CKL was competitive all season, and John and Nigel were victors at Silverstone in October. The pair are more than deserving winners of this stunning trophy. This is the actual trophy Stirling Moss collected after winning the 1955 British Grand Prix at Aintree. We are very proud to have their names engraved on this special trophy.
Generations Trophy
Rick & Joseph Willmott
Following on from victory in the Woodcote Trophy, the Willmotts were the only choice for the inaugural Generations Trophy after a thrilling victory in October’s first-ever race.
Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to all our customers who we support in Motor Racing Legends events.
