Simon wrote about E2A for Magneto, and Octane named his BMW M1 cover story one of the greatest in its history.

A longtime CKL customer, he began his writing career with Octane in 2015. Before that, Simon was a contemporary artist in New York. Simon owns a MK1 Jaguar which he raced at Revival with Tony Jardine in the St. Mary’s Trophy. In 2023 he became a research consultant for CKL and is now Head of Research.
