Simon described what it was like to drive the Lotus Elite which Colin Chapman raced at Sebring in 1959 for Motor Sport, and Octane named his BMW M1 cover story one of the greatest stories in its twenty year history.

Simon owns a MK1 Jaguar which is run by CKL and which he was lucky enough to race at Revival with Tony Jardine in the St. Mary’s Trophy.

In 2023 he crossed the rubicon and became not only a loyal CKL customer but also a freelance consultant responsible for the newsletters, photography and marketing.
